Lindsey Erin Feltis (she/her)

Intern Therapist October 2025 – August 2026

Lindsey Feltis - Boost Psychology - Low Cost Intern TherapistLindsey is currently a doctoral student in the Counselling Psychology program at the University of Alberta and is thrilled to be accepting clients as an intern therapist at Boost Psychology. For as long as she can remember, she has been passionate about supporting and empowering children, adolescents, and adults to grow into the best versions of themselves, and she truly believes she has the best job in the world.

As a clinician, Lindsey works from a humanistic-integrative lens. For her clients, this means that she strives to create a warm and collaborative space where people feel genuinely accepted and understood. She views her role as walking alongside her clients to help them access the resilience, wisdom, and strengths they already have. Lindsey also believes that therapy should be tailored and individualized to your unique needs. Therefore, depending on the needs of her individual clients, she integrates evidence-based approaches such as Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

Lindsey has provided counselling support in a variety of diverse settings including post-secondary institutions, community organizations, and inpatient clinical and forensic environments. Lindsey currently works with children (ages 8+), teens, and adults. She is 2SLGBTQ+ affirming and is dedicated to providing care that is inclusive and responsive to all clients. She is especially passionate about supporting those who struggle with emotion regulation, shame, and self-criticism.

In addition to her clinical work, her research has explored the benefits of mindfulness and self-compassion for children and adolescents, and she is currently completing her doctoral research on the flow of compassion in close friendships.

Outside of her clinical and academic work, Lindsey is happiest when she is belting out Disney or musical theatre songs to anyone who will listen, or eating sushi with her family, friends, and loved ones.
